As basic as our equipment may be, it suits our needs and it also allows us to explore and get all the footage and photos that we need.
OUR EQUIPMENT
For our DSLR, we use a Canon 1200D, this is a fairly cheap DSLR and takes amazing pictures however, as good as the Canon 1200D is, it does have disadvantages, I have not personally experienced any but there are some.

We also have a GoPro Hero 4 Silver, this is an absolutely amazing recorder and it beats all of the needs that we were looking for. The GoPro has a digital touch screen panel of the back of it which allows full simplicity to edit settings and it also has a screen on the front for information such as recording time of an SD card etc. We tend to record in 1080p60fps but that is because a lot of what we do is very motion intensive. I would definitely tell anyone to get one if they were looking for a recorded that was amazing. It can record up to 4k and it definitely has the quality for anyone.
DslR / Camera
We have 2 lenses for the DSLR, however we are currently looking at purchasing more, most of the time we use an EFS 18-55mm MF/AF Lens as it meets all of the requirements that we need for taking the pictures that we take.

We also have an EF 75-300mm MF/AF Lens which is great for getting long range shots, it is very helpful to us to help us see if there is anything we need to look out for before and or when entering or exiting sites.
